Are you an overthinker?


Overthinking has become such a common word. Sometimes it seems natural that it's okay to overthink. But trust me it's not.

What is overthinking?
When you are obsessed to think about the things that didn't have happened but have chances of happening. Sometimes you think way more about past things. It can be anything. It's sabotaging our happiness by thinking about the worst things that could happen.
 
Overthinking- Is it good or bad?
It is mostly bad only. Because your brain gets tired of thinking about something again and again. Sometimes it gives anxiety, stress and to some maybe panic attacks. You think about the possibility of something bad happening when you are happy, that's not good right? Sometimes you also overthink what if something good happens (only gives you expectations). But you feel that whatever bad things you think about, seem to be true ( yeah I know all your worst fears happen to be true).
So, maybe it's like preparing your mind. But it's all about denial, making us believe ourselves that it's okay to overthink when it's not.

Signs you are an overthinker
1. When you are happy you suddenly start thinking about what can go wrong.
2. You start thinking about the embarrassing moments.
3. You have lost sleep due to overthinking.
4. When in a group you get lost in your zone what if something bad happens.
5. You meet someone you start thinking about all the possibilities.
How to avoid it?
The more you try to avoid it the more you see yourself getting into it.  You just have to take your mind off it.
1. Try distracting yourself.
2. Call a friend who you trust.
3. Catch up with your family.
4. Go out.
5. Read a book.
6. Try watching a series.
7. Think about good things.
8. Do something productive.
9. Listen to music.

What if it doesn't let you sleep?
That's a problem. You can feel tired for the whole day if you don't get enough sleep. So what should you do?
1. Try meditation.
2. Listen to slow music.
3. Count 1 to 100 backwards(it just takes your mind off)
4. AND DON'T IMAGINE SCENARIOS.
It can be hard sometimes. But we can't give up. We will keep trying.
Telling someone, sharing your feelings can help. I know it's hard to trust, you just have to find the right person you can confide in. It's easy when you know someone is there for you but you can do it alone. You are enough capable to do that.
Just trust yourself, it can never go wrong.

Everyone has that one person in their life who either makes your life or destroys it. Coping from anxiety

Anxiety, hesitation, lack of confidence  keeps us away from so many life changing opportunities. Fear of doing something new deprive us from having a better life. We keep getting stuck in what ifs rather on focusing on achieving things. Some fear from failure, some fear from getting vulnerable in front of the world.
